About the Author – Rashmi P. Menon

Rashmi P. Menon is a single mother to the most amazing teen—her biggest fan and critic. As an author, she is published in multiple anthology books and online literary magazines. She is a dedicated editor focusing on Line/Copy Edits and Developmental Edits for indie authors writing in the fantasy, science fiction, romance, and thriller genres. A staunch believer of Diversity, Inclusion, and Representation, Rashmi launched her Independent Publishing House: Ravens & Roses Publishing that is focused on bringing stories of the underrepresented and marginalized communities to the world. For a day job, Rashmi works as a Technical Program Manager for a leading Media & Telecommunications organization. She moonlights as an author/editor because of her passion for the written word. Although, Rashmi has been writing from the time she learned to read and write, she found her calling as a serious writer after she took a few creative writing classes both online and on-campus to refine her writing skills in preparation for her first time participating in NaNoWriMo.

She is a survivor and a vigorous advocate for women’s and children’s rights. Her life’s journey has taken her to various countries on this beautiful planet. In short, Rashmi is a global citizen who finally settled down on the beautiful east coast of the USA. In her free time, she loves to catch up on her favorite marvel movies and streaming her favorite shows. During summers, she enjoys the outdoors camping and hiking the trails of Virginia with her son.
