Singing in the Rain!
In response to Day 12 task of Writing 101: Play with Word Count. I opted to write a 100 words Short Story!
It was a foggy rainy day, the town wore a sleepy look. The long winding roads bordered with pine trees took her to the hilltop. She rolled down the window and felt the droplets of water falling on her face.
That’s when she saw him amidst the fog standing on the hilltop, camera in hand, focusing on the beautiful green valley below. Her heart began to sing, she felt the rest of the world vanish. All she discerned was his mystical power, her drubbing heart and the singing of the rain!
Is this love at first sight? She thought, smiling!

These short writing challenges teach writers how to be concise. It really is a helpful exercise!

That’s true, it does teach us to be concise. Although some scenarios need descriptive writing for us to visualize the scene!
