Top 10 Most Awesome Careers!

I recently happened to read an article about the Top 10 of the happiest jobs in America. It was a pretty neat article and had some very interesting career options in the list. That list got me thinking on alternative career options for me in case I decided to take another route. But then, my mind has the habit of taking a slight detour from rational thinking and it went down a whole different path. It started thinking of all those things that I would love to have for a career! Of course, compensation is not taken into consideration in this case! 😀

After a whole lot of thinking, this is what I came up with! If only I could but have any one of these for a career, WOW! Do I even need to describe the gratification it would bring?! Intrigued enough to know more? Then read on…..

If day dreaming was actually a career option, then I would probably be the Steve Jobs of it! Seriously, I can day dream for hours on end. I would be so good at my job that I will be at the very top of my game – totally unreachable to the others! 😉

This would be one hell of a job – all I have to do is read books, all the books would be of my choice. Imagine getting paid to do that! Could life get any better?

Now, I know a lot of people whose actual profession is traveling. That’s not what I am talking about here. I am talking of wandering – you see or hear of a beautiful place even if it’s the woods near your house and you wander off for hours and hours. Where to wander – always your choice! What fun it would be to get paid to do that? 😀

Nope I am not talking about the professional photographers who work very hard to get the right shot. I am talking about people like me who walk around with a phone with the sole intention of capturing a moment – any moment for that matter – in their cell phone camera! Like this shot I clicked the day before yesterday when I spotted a rainbow!

Yup, the job is to recreate all those happy moments from your life so that you can relive it whenever you want! How awesome is that? And you get paid to do it!

  1. First Class Cabin Tester

The job here is only to test if the first class cabin in your flight or cruise is luxurious enough! You simply do that by taking a trip in it and report your findings. Of course, you get paid to report your findings. Come on, you can’t do all the hard work and write a report without getting paid for it, can you? 😛

I know there are a lot of astronomers out there who take star gazing very seriously. I am not talking about that. I am talking about having star gazing for a career in such a manner that you gaze whenever you feel like, have fun watching the stars in our universe and then get paid for it. That’s it – nothing more should be expected in return other than the fact that we are having fun! 😀

Your job here involves camping in all the wonderful locations and report your experience. Of course you get to choose the equipment’s, location and time of the year you want to camp!

  1. Road Trip Driver

So you get an awesome 4X4 and get to go on long road trips at your convenience and only to those places you want to go to.  After the trip, you just report the trip details to get paid! Could it get any better? Ever?

This job is pretty cool, all you have to do is to come up with silly crazy lists like this one. You entertain not just yourself but the readers too! What more compensation do you need than the smiles of the ones who just read your silly list! 😉
