Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Buying Shoes!
Oh shoes, numerous shoes, how I love thee?
Stilettos and pumps, wedges and flats, Peep toes and boots
I could stare at you, my lovely shoes, eyes filled with glee
Yet, something’s still missing; guess it’s time for some new recruits!
Yup, that’s right, you guessed it I have a major shoe fetish! I just love love love shoes, love to buy them and love to talk about them! Well I am truly, madly, deeply in love with shoes! I also have a Pinterest board dedicated to my shoe fetish. And I will not be joking when I say that I own most of the pairs that I have pinned on my board.
Come on now what girl doesn’t love shoes! I guess, if I had to choose between buying shoes and being in a relationship, I would tip the scale towards buying shoes! Any day!
So for this week’s Top 10 feature, I am going to count the top 10 reasons why I think I am in love with shoes, with buying more shoes and why it is better than being in a relationship! 😛
- Shoes are sexy!
Plain and simple…! A great pair of shoes can make a woman feel like she is on top of the world! Marilyn Monroe quoted “Give a Girl the right pair of shoes and she will conquer the world!” I couldn’t agree more!
- You get to pick the size!
Unlike err men, with shoes you get to pick and choose the style, size and fit! And guess what, if you don’t like ‘em you can always gift them to your best friend or sister and be pleased with yourself for making another girl very very happy! 😀
- You can have as many as you want!
No one can stop you; you are allowed to have as many as you want! The more the merrier. No one will judge you for owning more than one! 😉
- They never leave your closet!
Shoes never leave your closet and wander off into your neighbor’s closet by ‘mistake’. They stay put until you take them out and adorn it! 😀
- You can always return the ones you don’t like!
Let’s face it, only shoes come with that money back guarantee and the ‘original’ certificate. And the best part, you can always return them or exchange them for a different pair if you don’t like the first one you tried! 😉
- They are way more reliable!
You can blindly trust your shoes to never give up on you! They are reliable and don’t ever complain. Plus they will accompany you wherever you go! 😀
- There is one for every occasion!
There is a perfect pair of stilettos for that important meeting, a strappy sandal for the night out, a cool looking wedges for a trip to the mall or that sexy pair of boots to strut during winters, there’s always one for every occasion!
- They compliment you every single time!
Every single one of them complements you and you know it! You even get complimented for them, not just by the men but the women too!
- They don’t judge you!
Skinny, voluptuous, tall or short – your shoes never judge you! They love you all the more and make you look prettier than before! 🙂
- It feels better than ecstasy!
There is no better high than the feeling of buying those perfect pair of shoes and swiping the card to make it your very own possession. Accept it, the feeling is just orgasmic! 😉
I hope you enjoyed my crazy list of reasons I love my shoes. Do you have a fetish? What is it? Let me know in the comments, I would love to know!

I’m with SabahBatul. I’m definitely more of a sweater, cardigan person! As a chiropractor, I’m on my feet a lot, so cute heels and fancy shoes are not at all practical for me. I wear Crocs, the ugliest shoe on the planet and Borne boots most of the winter! But I’d love to live vicariously through your shoe collection!
MindandLifeMatters
I am sure it makes more sense to wear comfortable shoes when you are on your feet almost all day! Heels work for me coz I’m in the IT field, meaning a desk job…! 😛
But then I guess I would still buy ridiculously painful shoes if they appeal to me (done that before!) 😛
You are more than welcome to live vicariously through my collection, you will not be disappointed! 😉

In my 11 months stay in Vrindavan, in 2013, I wore no shoes or slippers. I have no shoes right since last 2 years, though I wear slippers now. This bragging was necessary to suggest that I don’t endorse anything told in this post LOL 😀 I am sharing it only because it’s ROTFL funny 😀 I hope you will enjoy reading it!
More love and light <3

Well, I’m in love with hats–dress hats. I think it’s genetic. My mother loved them. My daughter, who fell in love with them in her thirties, and I borrow them from each other. Unfortunately, we only get to wear them to church on Sundays. If I miss wearing one on a Sunday, invariably somebody will ask me where it is. Lately, several women have commented that they want to return to wearing them. So we’ll see.

Oh wow! Dress hats that’s an interesting choice. I would definitely like for them to come back in fashion! 🙂

I would love shoes but they don’t love me lol 😛 I have difficulty finding a shoe that fits me as my left feet is shorter than the right because if polio so I ebd up with just sandals, close shoes, flat shoes and with straps. It will take me time in a store to find a shoe that I can use. I can never wear high heeled shoes as they don’t fit and I might end up in a hospital. lol 😛 Kidding aside, I have one or two pairs of shoes and I don’t replace them unless they wear out as I need to be practical but I really love shoes too but not to the point of buying many. I guess aside from books, my fetish could be scarf, I buy or wanted to buy them even if I don’t use them. I just find them colorful and beautiful and those who use them sassy and classy. 🙂
MindandLifeMatters
Scarfs are indeed a colorful choice! I have never been a huge fan of accessories, for me it’s only shoes! 😀

I can totally understand your love for shoes. I guess if I can, I would love to wear high heels with matching sexy outfit (If I am sexy that is) lol 😛
Thistles and Whistles
Omg, love love love shoes! Can’t have too many but my shoe cabinet begs to differ! Point #6 – “You can blindly trust your shoes to never give up on you!”, that’s somehow not so true for me sometimes ! 🙁 The number of times my shoes have given up on me in public is highly embarrassing! Once I even had to travel back home barefooted in the metro because they gave up on me just as I reached the metro station. facepalm. In another instance, my fairly new pair of shoes gave up on me while on a tour in Malaysia – luckily there was a little shop nearby that sold slippers and I had to buy one size small Hello Kitty pink slippers in an emergency! 😛
MindandLifeMatters
Haha that’s funny….I hope it was not Summer when you had to walk back barefoot! I can’t even imagine the state of your feet if you had to do that in the Dubai summer!😯
Thistles and Whistles
Luckily it was in the late evening and it was quite pleasant weather. I can’t imagine having to go barefoot in Dubai summers as well shudder
